According to WhatsApp Business Policy, businesses should continue to comply with our existing telehealth policy: “Don’t use WhatsApp for telemedicine or to send or request any health information, if applicable regulations would limit distribution of such information to systems that do not meet heightened requirements to handle health information.”

Businesses should follow local laws around collection and sharing of sensitive health information. Businesses found to be violating our policies will face enforcement action, including removal from our platform.
