What is the throughput limit to send SMS messages?

While the tyntec SMS platform is able to support a high number of SMS messages — several hundred messages per second in fact — the overall throughput depends on the receiving carrier. For example, when sending from U.S. long virtual numbers, you are restricted to one SMS per second.
