Can tyntec deliver A2P SMS solutions to roaming phone numbers?
In general, yes. However, SMS delivery depends on whether tyntec has coverage to the roaming operator. Coverage depends largely on the interconnection agreements between the two network carriers.
If the subscriber’s home network has roaming agreements with networks in the current location, SMS will most likely be delivered. In this scenario, roaming should rarely have any impact on SMS senderID and character-set support, so senderID and correct display should occur. Ultimately, tyntec cannot guarantee SMS delivery to roaming destination numbers.
