How can I delete contacts and chats on the Conversations Inbox?
Deleting contacts and chats from the Conversations Inbox can be done on the interface or via a simple API call.
Option 1: deleting a contact and/or chat on the web-interface
In that option, an agent can proceed with the following steps:
Click on More button at the top right corner. A menu will open with the option Delete… colored in red.
A pop-up window will open. The agent can choose between deleting only the message history or everything (messages and contact data). The action has to be confirmed, as it cannot be undone.
Option 2: deleting a contact and/or chat programmatically via API call
You can manage your conversations and contact programmatically by using the Conversations Inbox API.
