Session (or chat) messages are triggered by a contact response to your WhatsApp Business Profile or when the contact initiates a conversation with the company. In both scenarios, the ’24-hour support window’ opens, allowing companies and contacts to communicate without the need of a templated message.
During this timeframe, WhatsApp does not charge any fees. Also, the session messages exchanged are included in your tyntec package for a certain amount of active contacts, therefore there’s no extra message fee charged for session messages, either sent or received.
You can virtually exchange as many messages with your contacts as you like.
The only fee that may be charged extra is if you message more contacts than what your package already includes. If that happens, tyntec will charge you an additional fee per active contact determined by the package you chose.
