Conversations API v3

This release of tyntec Conversations API introduces the following:

Improved Harmonization

You no longer need to use distinct channel segments when sending a message. You can simply add and configure channels like WhatsApp, Viber, SMS, WeChat, and Telegram without any interaction from our side.

Callback Configurations

  • Tamper Detection with Signatures 
    Due to popular demand, we now support defining a signature to detect tamper events during transit.
  • Header Parameter Configurability 
    You can now configure http headers freely, which used to be done only by request in previous versions.
  • Channel Account Callbacks
    With just one API account on the tyntec side, you can now set different callback URLs, enabling you to configure a different webhook, for example, per WABA number or Viber ServiceID.
  • Control over Event Versions 
    Configure which version of status update events and inbound messages you want to see.

List Messages

Following WhatsApp’s latest feature release, tyntec has added List Messages to the feature list!

List messages provide a more straightforward and consistent format than text-based lists to find and select what they want from a business.  List messages can be populated dynamically based on a customer’s responses and be used for personalized bot use cases, such as a take-out menu, a selection of nearby stores or locations, available reservation times, seating choices, etc.

Benefits and use cases include

  • Provide up to 10 options
  • Dedicated description lines for each option are available to provide additional context
  • List messages do not require a template or pre-approval.

Reply buttons

Like quick-reply buttons, reply buttons allow users to quickly select from up to three options when talking to a business in the 24-hour response window.

  • Reply buttons do not require a template or pre-approval.
