Security & Co. Overview

The Support Inbox is a flexible tool and you’re in the driver’s seat. That means you can configure certain functions, e.g. message storage, according to your policies and GDPR compliance.

One of these options is the storage period, which is 90 days by default. In case you need to store conversations for a longer or shorter period of time, this is up to you.

Also, the tool offers a “contact deletion” option that conforms to GDPR. If your contacts are pulled via a CRM system, this data can be synchronized and the contact is deleted according to your standards.

Other than these, the Inbox's security, encryption and data work in the same way as of the API. You need to collect opt-ins and provide opt-outs, and WhatsApp encryption is fully supported.
