What you will be doing:
- Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure, alongside the maintenance of established environment
- Assessing current systems and development processes and find ways to improve them
- Supporting development team with tooling
- Maintaining testing infrastructure
Who we are looking for:
- Degree in computer science, telecommunication, electrical engineering or a comparable qualification
- Considerable work experience in a similar position
- Experience in the following technologies:
- development automation tools e.g Jenkins, Gitlab CI
- Git frameworks e.g GitLab, Github
- package managers e.g Nexus, Artifactory
- container orchestration, e.g.Kubernetes
- development infrastructure tools and services e.g Kafka, Cassandra, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK stack
- Knowledge and interest in GNU/Linux as well as Puppet and
- Familiarity with command line interfaces
- Willingness to take part in planned shifts in the “Engineer on Duty” model
- Ability to adapt quickly to new tasks, work independently as well as in a team and to continuously expand your knowledge
- Good communication skills with an open personality
- Fluency in English is necessary, intermediate German is a plus
