Call Notifications

In a situation where calls cannot reach subscribers, for example if a phone is switched off or out of network coverage, SMS delivery can be used to provide call-again notifications when the subscriber becomes available.

With day, time and caller information stamped on a business SMS alert, it is easy for the user to quickly identify when the call was missed and who should be contacted for follow-up. This can be a useful service in both emergency and business situations.

Such notifications have interesting applications for call centres and help desks. In the event that a customer care representative cannot reach a person after many attempts, a concise and timely alert can be sent in the form of a text message.  In addition to this the sender can be kept informed of whether the recipient is abroad or out of network reach.

It is also possible to offer 2-way SMS communication, combining call alerting with auto-reply functionalities, enabling the intended recipient to respond to the SMS. This makes sure that companies can respond to customer complaints and inquiries in a timely manner, increasing speed and efficiency in customer care operations.

Call notifications can also be used for staff communications with international SMS, reaching employees wherever they are in the world. These employees (especially those located in different time zones) might not always able to answer phone calls, however with either missed-call or call-me-back SMS alerts, important calls can be followed up quickly.

Call centres, help desks and any enterprise can use call notifications via text messages to follow up on customer complaints and requests.
