Mobile Commerce
Mobile commerce (also known as M-Commerce) is the ability to conduct commerce initiated and/or completed using a mobile device. Mobile commerce provides many services such as: mobile ticketing, mobile banking and discount couponing.

There are different technologies that support the use of mobile commerce, such as WAP and messaging. WAP technology enables the user to perform a transaction by using the internet browser on the handset, re-creating a similar experience to using a desktop. The use of messaging, especially SMS, is also highly widespread especially for micro-transactions such as mobile content.
