Members of the Board

Dr. Ralph Eric Kunz, Co-Founder and Chairman of the Board

Dr. Kunz co-founded tyntec and designed its business architecture. Today he serves as Chairman of the Board.

 

Ralph has more than 15 years of experience in top-level management, strategy consulting, and investment in the IT, media and telecom industries. He worked with the Boston Consulting Group before running a Neue Markt-listed technology holding company. Subsequently, he was in charge of building and co-heading the venture capital branch of Bertelsmann AG. Most recently he held senior executive positions within Nokia Corporation, specifically as VP Business Development and General Manager of Nokia’s Navigation and Search business. He is Managing Partner of Catagonia Capital (www.catagonia.com), a Berlin-based investment company which is involved in tyntec.

 

Ralph holds a PhD in physics and a Masters in economic policy from the Technical University of Berlin/University of Chicago.

 


Claudio Siniscalco, Board Member

Claudio Siniscalco serves as Vice President of Direct Investments at HarbourVest Partners and joined tyntec’s Board upon HarbourVest’s investment in June 2008. 

 

Claudio has more than 13 years of experience in private equity investing and finance. At HarbourVest, Claudio focuses on originating, evaluating, and executing direct investments in growth equity, mezzanine and buyout transactions, primarily in Europe. He currently serves as a board member of Panda Security, Polynt and tyntec.

 

Claudio received a BA in economics from Harvard University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.


Alex A. Rogers, Board Member

Alex is a member of tyntec’s board and a Managing Director at HarvourVest Partners.

 

Alex focuses on direct investments in growth equity, buyout, and mezzanine transactions in Europe and other non-U.S. regions. Alex completed HarbourVest's associate program in 2000 and went on to Harvard Business School.

 

As well as his role with tyntec, Alex serves as a board member or board observer at Finjan, MobileAccess Networks, Nero AG, Transmode Systems and World-Check. 

 

Alex received a BA in economics from Duke University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
