IMT is Fully Compliant to the GSM Association's Open Connectivity High Level Requirements
IMT meets the GSM Association's high level requirements for SMS Hubs. Beyond the GSMA requirements TynTec's IMT service provides additional services which are required to provide a consistent international SMS service to mobile operators. TynTec's IMT ensures all messages are also transmitted in roaming situations and in Mobile Number Portability environments, as well as providing operators with SS7 and/or SMPP interfaces to connect to the SMS Hub service.
Additional features, such as advanced anti-spam and anti-spoof utilities, reporting capabilities, transparency in all transactions and cascade-billing are provided.
Hubbing Simplifies International SMS
IMT gives operators the advantage of simplifying international SMS operations by avoiding the need for new and costly bi-lateral roaming agreements. By signing one simple IR21 agreement (SMS only) for all additional SMS interconnect activity, operators use practically the same procedures as with one individual roaming agreement.
IMT also means managing one single legal, technical and billing relationship rather than hundreds of roaming agreements for international SMS messaging. Additionally, operators connecting to TynTec's IMT retain all existing procedures and capabilities of their normal network, billing and roaming operations.
Transparent Conversion between all technologies
Our SMS Hub has the ability to route messages through all existing access interfaces. This means IMT supports transparent routing within the same access interface, e.g. SMPP-to-SMPP and SS7-to-SS7; as well as supporting conversion between different interfaces, such as SMPP-to-SS7, SS7-to-SMPP and SS7-SS7.
