Main Responsibilities

  •  Sell our high-quality mobile messaging services to a broad range of telecommunication customers, from large international SMS aggregators and resellers to mobile service providers and voice gateways.
  • Acquire new customers within the mobile messaging sector to hit sales revenue and margin targets.
  • Manage the entire new sales process from lead generation, making the first contact with potential customers to closing the sale.
  • Contact potential clients worldwide via telephone (cold calling), email, online chat, conference calls, in-person at global industry events, etc.
  • Manage the client testing process and follow up on progress.
  • Present services over the phone or in person, perform contract and price negotiations, prepare contractual documents and close the sale.
  •  Represent tyntec at international industry events.
  • Identify new customer needs and market trends.
  • Analyse competitors and collect detailed market intelligence.

Make suggestions for product or process innovation and development. 

The ideal candidate should have the following profile:

  • A minimum of 2 years of B2B Sales success within the mobile telecoms industry.
  • Experience within the mobile messaging market is preferred.
  • Industry contacts within the mobile messaging space would be a clear advantage.
  • Knowledge of mobile technology and mobile networks and confident using technical terms.
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent.
  • Written and verbal fluency in English is essential; other languages would be an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, especially a confident telephone manner.
  • High degree of self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to deliver first class work under pressure in a demanding sales environment with multiple responsibilities.
  • Broad knowledge and familiarity of the MS Office package.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Team player and a fast learner.
  • Results driven and ambitious.
