Main Accountabilities

  • Maximization of revenues and profit from one of largest accounts
  • Assurance of customer retention by lifting supplier priority to upper management
  • Assurance of preferred supplier position
  • Strong relationship building across all management levels
  • Responsibility for Global Account Development Strategy (near, middle & long term) including all group entities
  • Global account ownership and guidance of local account teams
  • Installing effective entry barriers for competition
  • Information gathering to detect new potential, products and services
  • Smart operations of account with smooth integration into customer’s systems and processes
  • Project management across multiple customer projects to assure success
  • Performance and growth control with effective analysis and reporting
  • Business planning and budgeting for key account contribution
  • Responsibility for customer organization

The ideal candidate should have the following profile:

  • Leadership personality with 8+ years experience in Key Account Management, Hunting Global 2000
  • Key Account Management experience is a must, preferably in the .com or portal business are, ideally in a global mid sized to large company with strong processes
  • Preferred experience in TIME industry, publicity/advertisement sector
  • Strong relator with a sense of entrepreneurial ownership
  • Excellent conceptual, strategic, creative and visionary skills
  • Strong negotiation, presentation and communication skills
  • Track record of over-achieving sales targets
  • Interest in technology and willingness to understand the complex technical background of the Telecommunication area
  • Cultural awareness and a desire to work in an international environment
  • Enjoys travelling
  • Fluent written and spoken English and German is a must
  • Highly self-motivated and team-oriented attitude
